kids are great. Everyone of you gave
100% and may of you gave more!

better and then 3 more shows!

OK one GREAT dress rehearsal down adn one to go. Our show starts tomorrow!
Ticket sales are sluggish, so PLEASE get the word out.
This is a great show, and we need to get as many people as possible there for the production.

Get those flyers out and get all your friends and relatives to buy tickets and come to this great show!
PLEASE NOTE SCHEDULE
CHANGE!
FIRST, on Monday the 1st, the only rehearsal for the ensemble will
be from 2:30-4:00 in the Cafetorium of the Middle School. Some
named principals (Ugly, Ida, Drake, Cat) will have a sound check at
the High School at 6:00pm.
SECOND, on Tuesday and Wednesday, in an effort to minimize the
time that ensemble members have to be at the high school, we will
run the dress rehearsals in the following way:
Poultry tale will be done 1st, then scene 8. After these scenes, many
of the ensemble members may leave. Only those students in the
rest of scene 1 and scenes 2-7 will have to stay.
PLEASE make your parents aware of these changes. I would guess
that most of the ensemble may leave between 7:00 and 7:30pm

VERY EXCITING -We've started our
move into the high school theater and
had our first practice! YAY!!!
The kids are very excited AND doing a great job. We still have lot's to do and the schedule for the last 10 days before the show is pretty full. Here is the updated schedule:
Monday 1/25 and Wednesday 1/27 - Entire ensemble at the high school 2:00-5:00
Tuesday 1/26 - Wild Goose Chase, Blizzard sequence (singers and snowflakes both casts) - at the MIDDLE SCHOOL 2:30-5
Thursday 1/28 - Wild Goose Chase, Blizzard sequence (singers and snowflakes both casts), Transformation scene, AND Warts and All - at the MIDDLE SCHOOL 2:30-5
Friday 1/29 - Small groups as needed as judged from previous days. - at the MIDDLE SCHOOL 2:30-5
Saturday 1/30 - Both ensembles, full run-through, at the high school, 9-3 - lunch provided
Sunday 1/31 - Individual work as needed.
Monday 2/1 - Entire ensemble - at the High School - 5:00-10:00PM
Tuesday 2/2 Dress rehearsal Wigeon cast - Entire ensemble at the high school 5:00-10:00PM
Wednesday 2/3 Dress rehearsal Pintail cast - Entire ensemble at the high school 5:00-10:PM
Thursday 2/4 - Opening Night - Wigeon cast - call a the high school - 5:30, show at 7:00
Friday 2/5 - Pintail cast show - call a the high school - 5:30, show at 7:00
Saturday - Wigeon cast show - call a the high school - 5:30, show at 7:00
Sunday -Pintail cast show - call a the high school - 12:30, show at 2:00
Tickets are on sale for cast members only and order forms have gone home.
The last big construction push will be
on Saturday during our rehearsal
from 8-3. We need all available
parents to help make the
set do justice to the fabulous job our
kids are doing!!

Our CASTING is COMPLETE!!!
PLEASE see the attached document at the bottom of this page for full cast details! There are two separate casts, the Wigeons and the Pintails; each cast will do two separate performances.
The ensemble is in both casts, and the principals in each cast are in the ensemble of the other cast. More details later!
Our first drama club meeting will be October 1st from 2:30-4:00pm. We will have rehearsal schedules for the run at that meeting.
The first parent meeting will be the following Monday evening October 5th at 6:00p.m.

The Drama Club is excited to announce that we will be performing
Honk, Jr!
the first weekend in February, 2010.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Kathleen Godek as the Co-Director of the Drama Club along with Dr. Blaisdell. Please welcome her warmly when you see her.

Drama club is ready to roll with its 2009-2010 production of Honk! The story of the Ugly Duckling filled with laughter, songs, and dances. EVERYONE is invited to try out for this show as singers, dancers, actors, comedians, or members of the technical or production staff. Auditions are next Monday (14th) and Tuesday (15th) from 2:30 to 5:00pm, with call backs as needed on Thursday Sept 17th. The signup sheets are on the wall outside of the cafetorium: Three auditionees per 15 minute slot. The auditions are fun and painless. If you have trouble with the times, or if you have questions or are anxious about how you might fit in, please see Ms. Godek or Dr. Blaisdell. We are going to have a lot fun in this production, so join us next week!
